Barbecue Chicken

Last night's menu consisted of:

Barbecue Chicken
Cheesy Bacon Macaroni
Steamed Carrots
Pineapple

This meal was VERY easy to make!!  I began with the chicken.  The chicken breasts that I used were HUGE, so I had to pound them a little bit before I began.  After I flattened the chicken out I placed them into a sprayed glass baking dish.
I put them into the oven at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.  Then I took them out I brushed each side of the chicken breasts with barbecue sauce, and then put them back in the oven for 10 more minutes.

I continued repeating that process of cooking them for 10 minutes, brushing them with sauce, cooking for 10 minutes, etc. until they were completely cooked.

While the chicken was cooking I worked on the carrots and the pasta.  The pasta was SUPER easy because it came from a box.  I just had to add milk, water and butter.
I then had to bring the mixture to a boil, add the noodles and sauce mix and then boil it for 15 minutes.  Finally, I had to let it set off the heat for 5 minutes to let it set up.

For the carrots, I just put some baby carrots into a Ziploc microwave steamer bag

and cooked them for about 10 minutes, until the carrots were tender.

Here is my completed plate:

So, overall I would say that the tally is:

BBQ Chicken- A definite HIT!! (My husband said that it was, "AMAZING!!!")
Cheesy Bacon Macaroni- A Near Hit?  (My husband liked it, I didn't)
Steamed Carrots- A definite HIT!!  (I LOVE veggies, if you can't tell)
Pineapple- A definite HIT!! (How can fresh fruit not be a hit?)
