Andy & Rebekah's French Onion Soup

We got this recipe from my husband's sister and her husband.  It is way yummy!!!

I began by cutting up several onions.
I then browned the onions with some butter in a large pot.

When they had cooked down I added the following
4 cups of water, 6 beef bouillon cubes, 1 tablespoon flour and some Worcestershire sauce






I then mixed them together and brought it to a boil.

Once it was boiling I turned it down to simmer and let it simmer for about 45 minutes.

We then used a ladle and put it in oven safe mugs.

We then put toasted French bread on the top of the soup.

Then mozzarella cheese was put on top of the bread (sliced it easier, but we just used shredded).

We then put them on a baking sheet inside the oven and put it on broil until the cheese was melted and golden brown.

We served our French onion soup with sandwiches, or in my case a wrap.
