Crispy Brown Sugar Chicken

Friday's dinner menu:
Crispy Brown Sugar Chicken
Mashed Potatoes

I began by creating a marinade.

I combined brown sugar, maple syrup, corn starch and pineapple juice in a bowl.  I then added my chicken breasts.
I then put the marinating chicken into the refrigerator for about 6 hours.

I then took the chicken out of the marinade and dredged them into flour and put them on a sprayed cooking sheet.

I then baked them at 350* for around 18 minutes.

While the chicken was baking I peeled and boiled my potatoes.

I then drained the potatoes and put them into my mixer's bowl.  I added butter, salt, pepper and heavy cream.  I then turned on my mixer and let them mix until they were the consistency we prefer.

Here is my completed plate:

So, overall I would say that the tally is:

Crispy Brown Sugar Chicken- A miss!!  (it wasn't crispy & was kind of bland)
Mashed Potatoes- A definite hit!!
