Last night's dinner menu:
Honey Dijon Pork TenderloinSteamed Yellow Squash
Stroganoff Pasta
We began by searing the pork on all sides
We then made a mustard sauce to glaze the pork with.
I then brushed all sides of the pork with the mustard glaze
We then put the pork in a 350* oven for 20 minutes & then let it rest for 10 more minutes.
Next, I made the pasta side. The Stroganoff Pasta came out of a box so I just followed the directions.
Boil water, butter & milk. Then add pasta and boil for 8 minutes |
Last I cooked the yellow squash. I simply put them in a ziploc steamer bag and cooked it in the microwave for 6 minutes.
I added butter, salt & pepper because it was bland without it |
When everything was finished cooking and resting I sliced the pork
My completed plate
So, I would say that the overall tally is:
Dijon Pork Tenderloin- A hit!!
Stroganoff Pasta- Neither a hit or a miss (it was okay)
Steamed Yellow Squash- A miss!! (neither my husband or I liked them)
